Congratulations to our 2010 Bulls Only Rodeo Queen
Alycia Taylor
Alycia is an 18-year-old native of Lakeside, CA and a senior at El CapitanHigh School. Her plans are to attend college and become an Animal Investigator, with a minor in Veterinary Science. She is very active in the local 4-H and FFA clubs. Her passion for animals, excitement and loyalty to her community are the driving force in becoming Miss Bulls Only Rodeo 2010. Since the ripe age of 4 Alycia has been riding horses and competing at barrel races and gymkhanas. At 6 Alycia got her first horse and has been hooked ever since. When Alycia is not in school she is very busy breeding her Sow Hazel and raising piglets, riding her horse Khen-o and competing at the local barrel races and fun shows. In the past Alycia has driven a team of Belgian Draft horses and competed with them at the LA Pomona County Fair. Family is a big YES to Alycia as her mom, dad, and grandma are a huge part of her life and support her 110%. As MBOR Alycia is the spokesperson for the Bulls Only Rodeo and the sport of rodeo. She will be traveling throughout California to promote the Bulls Only Rodeo at events like other rodeos, parades, western events, pageants and a variety of school events. Her favorite part of being a rodeo queen has been giving back to her community and putting smiles on the faces of those she sees and talks too. She is prepared to be a positive ambassador for the Bulls Only Rodeo and the men and women who are involved with the club. She is honored and proud to be your Miss Bulls Only Rodeo 2010 and looks forward to a very exciting and fun filled year. Most of all Alycia looks forward to seeing you all at the Bulls Only Rodeo XII this July 16th and 17th.
